WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?
Our newspaper and our website have been evolving in different directions.
Gone are the days of a newspaper's website being a mere reflection of what's in print. That hasn't been true with our publications for quite a while.
To be sure, our website does feature some of the best content from our newspaper, but what you'll find online is much more — including photo galleries of games and events as well as multiple daily updates about things happening around town.
Each publication platform has a unique purpose and value. First In Print is meant to accentuate those. For example, we believe that our newspaper subscribers pay for the privilege of having special access to certain types of content.
As our website continues to expand its focus on breaking news and community updates, our newspaper continues to expand its focus on providing readers with stories they can't get elsewhere. In print, this specifically means in-depth reporting on important local issues as well as stories about interesting people.
And, all told, our mission to serve the community remains steadfast no matter the platform.
