Clay County Fair advance gate tickets for sale
Clay County Fair advance gate tickets are available for purchase.Fair booster tickets will be sold individually for $5 each -- a savings of $3 from the regular daytime gate admission price for adults.
Phil Hurst, Clay County Fair manager, said he expected 2011 to be an excellent year for advance ticket sales because of the great lineup of entertainers and activities for this year's fair.
"People will want to purchase the advance tickets this year, especially if they plan to attend the various concerts and events. The fair advance tickets represent a substantial savings for fairgoers," Hurst said. "I encourage people to buy advance sale tickets."
Individuals and businesses may take advantage of the savings by purchasing their tickets from a fair advance ticket location or a fair advance sales representative prior to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. The Clay County Fair ticket office will sell booster tickets until 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
More than 60 individuals and businesses are working in cooperation with the Clay County Fair and Spencer Chamber of Commerce to sell the tickets in Spencer and several surrounding communities.
Spencer locations where advance tickets are on sale include: Audio Video Connection, Bank of America, Bomgaars, Clay County auditor, Clay County Fair administration office, Clay County Fair grandstand ticket office, Community State Bank and Insurance, Design Masters Salon and Day Spa, Fareway, Farm Bureau Clay County, Farmers Trust and Savings Bank, HyVee, JCPenney, Northwest Bank north and south branches, Southpark Mall, Spencer Municipal Hospital gift shop, Spencer Chamber of Commerce, St. Luke's Lutheran Home, State Bank, Telco Triad Credit Union, US Bank, Walgreens and White Drug.
